Te Reo Maori

Room 23 have Te Reo Maori on Wednesday morning with Mrs Tipene. Some of our pupils also attend the school kapa haka on Monday afternoon. One of the highlights this term has been making poi and learning a simple poi routine.

Last week the pupils got to play with the Rakau sticks. They also came up with their own item.

Portraits- Famous people

WALT: Sketch and colour a portrait of a famous person.

What we did: We cut out half a picture of a famous person. We then glued it on to a sheet of A3 paper. We then sketched and coloured the other half. We had to be careful to get the correct proportion.
