Maths Games

The homework maths games were fantastic. Thanks very much to all the parents who supported the pupils. On Thursday the whole Whanau got to play with the games.
They will also be a valuable addition to wet weather activities at break and lunch times.

Narrative poems 17 April

Have you ever smelled the amazing race
Sure you have
Remember that time
Running to the field to get the passports
and then look for the clues.
As you shot some hoops with a netball.
And when you found the first clue.
Remember that when you played bop it .
And then running to the beach.
That was the amazing race
By Jenna

Have you ever smelled the amazing race
Sure you have
Remember that time
When you go to different challenges
In different classes and as you were going
Writing the clues
Racing to the beach
That was the amazing race
by Zenith

Have you ever smelled the amazing race
Sure you have
Remember that time
Running up to the bop it lady
As you huffed and panted while you were running
And reading the clues
Remember those hints she gave you
And doing challenges on the way to the beach
That was the amazing race.

 Sure you have
Remember that time
Looking for all those clues
As you ran on to the field to play the bop-it
Looking for the poster
Remember the time when you had to run to the bridge
To find the spot the difference
Then you walked to the beach
That was the amazing race.

Sure you have
Remember that time
When you had to build a lego helicopter
That was a lot of fun
As you run down Kane road
And you had to find an item under
The bridge

Ever smelled the amazing race
Sure you have
Remember that time
When you had to run to the field
To work out the bopit out
And build the helicopter
That was really cool
As you run down the alley way
And spotted the difference
Then we walked to the beach
And buried your team mate
