Team Assembly. All parents are invited to attend our Kereru Team Assembly this Friday at 9:30. You are most welcome to join us after the assembly in our class room Room 23, in the new block.

Spelling
Complete spelling activity sheet.
Learn words for spelling test.
Blues/ Chiefs: transport, transfer, transplant, transit, transmit, antidote, antiseptic, antibiotic, anticlockwise, television, telescope, telephone.
Hurricanes: visitor, doctor, error, motor, sailor, spectator, water, number, lower, taller, sister, better.

Writing
Attempt to write an I am ...... poem.
Use Mr Semmens' poem as a model. He has written his poem about his home when he was growing up on a farm near Morrinsville.
Include interesting things about your home/ family/ holidays.
We will be doing some work on this poem in class as well if you get a bit stuck.
Tips: Start each line with a capital letter. Use some verbs and adverbs. Include interesting words and phrases. Good luck!!!
